"Just returned from an 8 day stay. Hotel is remote (with tricky access off a main road - a car is essential to get around here as no facilities in walking distance). It is in a beautiful setting overlooking Mount Maroma & Alcaucin with great views across the valley from the lovely pool area and room terraces. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. Breakfast is plentiful (fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheeses, bread, croissants, toast, eggs & bacon, coffee and orange juice). All served sitting under covered terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens or in the dining room. There are lunch options always available and dinner can be booked daily before 11am. Useful option as there are very few places close by to get a decent meal. We ate there 6 evenings and every dinner was different with local produce freshly cooked eg tuna steak, pork loin, pork steak, salmon, chicken...all delicious. The three sisters are so friendly and very welcoming...it's such a relaxing place. Definitely highly recommended."

We had everything we needed and we only went out once preferring to enjoy the extensive gardens and the burgeoning friendship with Pascal & Christa who could not have been better hosts. If your looking for something away from the tourist traps where you can relax, relax and relax a bit more then book some time here."

"This is a wonderful hotel - just idyllic. Staff are amazing - very friendly and professional. The furnishings are spot on, as is the location. Sure, you may nick-pick at the layout of the rooms but that is overshadowed by the sheer beauty of the hotel, and its location (where there are plenty of walks available). We had a most wonderful stay (3 nights half-board), made even more memorable by the staff."

"Typical Spanish hotel, full of dark furniture but in an excellent position. Restaurant looked good but was closed, maitre de directed us to possibly the worst restaurant in spain.Will definitely return as Antequera is delightful"
