"Room was clean, towels and shower gel provided. TV, WiFi, coffee/tea and breakfast cereals provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. For me the only drawback for 5 stars was the room was next to the beer garden and if you had window open and smokers outside it would drift in. But, having said that I would use again."

"Alie was a wonderful host and came quickly to welcome me and offered to help with my bags. The room was great, really clean and the bathroom was perfect. Might have liked a little more room to hang clothes but there were hangers on the back of the door. Alie also offered me an iron and board and said to call on her if I needed anything. Room had kettle, tea, coffee and water too. Really comfy bed. My only issue us that I was woken up one morning by someone having sex!! I'm not sure from which room, I suspect next to mine (Room 9) so maybe some soundproofing would be good. I could even hear his conversation with his partner afterwards (ick!) and it slowly dawned on me that they may well have heard me dancing to Madonna in my room at 2am. Ho hum. Other than that, a really good 2-night stay."

"I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the room very comfortable. Overall, a great experience, and I would happily stay here again."

"We visited with a family of 4 (2 kids/adults). Amazingly kind staff, the room was pretty tidy. Breakfast was absolutely delightful with generous portions. Downside is the pull out couch bed wasn’t so comfortable for the kids."

"The accommodation we had was a triple room with 3 single beds. It was a reasonable size and had a fridge and a kettle with tea and coffee provided. The beds were comfortable and the linen and towels provided were very clean. The staff were polite and friendly and when any request was made they acted immediately or as soon as they could. The parking was free although the area was small and would hold probably 4 cars. Kathleen House was approximately 10 minutes walk from Enfield Town Station where the overground was easy to use and it was very easy to transfer to the underground at stations further down the line. If we were to got to London again we would not hesitate to go to Kathleen House again."

"Lovely staff. Very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Breakfast was amazing. Well worth the money for the quality. Location was pretty good. Grounds were very pretty and the outside gazebo area was very useful for the great got weather we have in June 2026. Our room had air con but I believe some don't have that from what our friend said. We stayed in one of the garden buildings. These are like mini apartments and you have to walk around to the back to get into the main building. This certainly isn't a problem. Getting into London can be done using the bus or mixture of bus and tube. Taxi to Enfield or bus to Cockfosters. We walked it once, to the tube, and it was a bit too far in hot weather. Highly recommend. We will stay here again."
