"First impressions were not so good. Walking into the garden to be met with rubbish bags with maggots. The garden is scruffy and there isn’t a drying line. Having said all that the house is furnished nicely, the downstairs shower is very small, not suitable for a larger person. We didn’t have any bath towels but this was quickly rectified. No welcome pack, a carton of milk would have been nice. "

"We had a short break here in early July with our young dog. The property had been newly refurnished and much thought had gone into sustainability. We also really enjoyed the fields, which had been planted with wild flowers and had paths mown for interesting walks. There were benches so you could sit down and admire the wonderful views. The owners were very responsive and excellent at suggesting days out and where to eat. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area."
