"The place is really nice and clean. It has beautiful views and is very relaxing. There are cows grazing on the mountain right beside the property. It is perfect for two people. The fireplace and A/C worked well. The WiFi does not work. There is a larger house and this place is an apartment/cabin over the detached garage. "I fell in love with this place the moment I walked in the door. We stayed here because our son recently moved to the area. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. We were going to take our son & his girlfriend out for dinner but we decided to stay in & grill. We enjoyed kayaking, hiking, & just hanging out on the back porch by the water. We will definitely stay here again. Such a fun & relaxing weekend."

"We’ve stayed here before and love the proximity to fishing spots. This was the first time it wasn’t really clean, there was visible clumps of dust in just about every room. I didn’t reach out, since we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. But if you have allergies or asthma I’d be mindful of the current condition of the property."

"Our overall experience was pleasant. However the kitchen needed some attention. The faucet was missing the head so if not careful turning on you could easily get water everywhere. Even though the refrigerator visually looked clean it reeked of fish. Lastly a butcher's block with additional cutting knifes could be useful other than just one that was provided."

"Great little house on the water. Perfect for a couple or small family looking for a weekend getaway close to dillsboro and sylva. The only bad part about the hunt is the driveway location. Your view is blocked both ways so pulling into the road is a little difficult but manageable."

"We visit the Smoky Mountain National Park often and this was our first time staying on the North Carolina side of the park. Our family really enjoyed the cabin as it was close to Bryson City for groceries and food but still felt secluded. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were a little uncertain of our kids sleeping on the other side of the porch/breezeway but it worked fine and they enjoyed it. We were also close to Cherokee where we did plenty of shopping too. "The cabin was so perfect from the very beginning. Abbie was quick to communicate and respond. The cabin was clean and had all the eminities needed for a perfect weekend getaway. After running the 6 hour Firefly trail run, the hot tub was the answer to sore muscles. The ping pong table was everyone's favorite and we played for hours. We will be back again! Thank you Abbie!"
