"We stayed at the Dakota Edinburgh the night before our flight. This hotel is full of surprises, all of them very good. The room was very comfortable, spacious, and well cared for. The lobby is beautiful and relaxing, including a very sweet dog statue. The bar is excellent, great cocktails and snacks. The restaurant was superb, excellent food and very professional and knowledgeable staff. We would absolutely stay there again!"

"First time at Malmaison with 2 small dogs. Room was a suite and only had booked a standard double room. Absolutely beautiful with bath and Jack and Jill shower facilities and sinks. Extra room to side with circular couch bed and flat screen TV . Staff very helpful. Unable to take dogs into Brasserie restaurant but are in for stairs bar and food brought to table. But more difficult at breakfast but eventually after explaining unable to up and down lift with breakfast we were allowed to sit in conference side room with dogs which was adjacent to buffet breakfast room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay "

"Breakfast could have been a bit more organised. At times staff were stretched in coping with a lot of people arriving at the same time. Perhaps think about giving people a choice of times so arrivals were staggered. Food itself was a bit cold and served on cold plates. Otherwise a nice stay at hotel. Room comfy as well as bed. Staff helpful. "
