"We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great."

"My daughter and I stayed there and loved it! We can't wait to return, perhaps this Autumn. It was a joy to experience the beauty of Yosemite and to leave the crowds behind at the end of the day and return to this charming cabin. The peace and quiet there were wonderful. It was comfortable and well stocked with cooking pots and pans, dishes, etc. Our overall experience was a 10!"

"The cabin is well equipped and decorated with memorabilia from the 50’s and 60’s. I recognized so much from my youth…my teenage granddaughters were shocked hear me identify people and things they never heard of. Truly a step back in time. We were able to traverse many Yosemite highlights from this location in Wawona from within the NP."

"I book the lodge for the night before my wedding. The host, Jimmy and Michael were very responsive and provided all the details for a smooth check-in. The morning of, we used the space to get ready. It was very spacious and accommodated our wedding party. The area around the lodge was beautiful for photo ops and we had our first look, right outside surrounded by trees. I would recommend staying at the lodge if you are planning to get married in Yosemite. "

"Be prepared to check in with Redwoods Yosemite Management prior to occupying cabin. That wasn't indicated in our VRBO instructions. Luckily, we chose to stop by a nearby management office to use their phone(due to no cell reception), & discovered that was the procedure to check in. Had we arrived 1 hour later, we would have been unaware of the "after hours check in procedures" Otherwise, our accommodations were perfect & would gladly stay again."

"We had a great stay at Wawona during the Memorial Day long weekend. The location is good, refreshing and close enough to the Yosemite valley. However, the place didn't have enough paper towels, salt and pepper, shampoo and bathroom essentials. So you will have to bring everything with yourself or you can buy it in the Yosemite super market. Communication with the property manager was a little bit hard and they were slow in responding to the messages. Overall, it was a great stay."

"Its a cabin/house in the woods so the furnishing are quite dated but it was clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet in the woods. Very pleasant setting."

"We were a group of seven, and this cabin specified it slept 10. Not sure how comfortable a group that size would be, since only four beds… The bedroom with two double beds had older, scratchy bedding (different than depicted on website) and one of them was squeaky and felt like sleeping on a pull-out couch. Another bedroom had a queen mattress and box spring directly on the floor; no frame. Definitely needed to bring our own pillows! We weren’t picky about decor, but kitchen was a lot more...

"We had a blast and the cabin was great! Beds were super comfortable and it was nice to be able to hear and see the creek from our cabin. I wish we could have had an open fire/fire pit but I understand the reasoning. We would definitely stay here again."

"Nice lived-in cabin for 4 to stay comfortably (max 4 because everyone has to share the same shower). Plenty of space for indoor and outdoor relaxation. Great location for accesssing Yosemite Valley or Mariposa Grove (about 35 minutes from each) without having to enter through the park entrance ranger station. This location allowed access to the park twice in the same day when we wanted to hike early, come home for a rest, and then return to Yosemite Valley in the evening."
