"This was a lovely old stone cottage connected to others on a fairly steep, narrow road. We had some difficulty finding it, but a lovely employee at the Fore 2 Restaurant guided us. Your gps might lead you astray. You really need to unload your gear and then park in the town pkg lot. We could walk everywhere & take the bus to other locations. "As travelers from Australia, we decided on a self contained old worker's cottage as a change from the ordinary motels. We were not disappointed. Although small ( or compact ), the house came with the mod cons we required. Whether summer holidaying or like us, travelling about Cornwall, the house is central to beaches, shops, transport and restaurants and tourist spots."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The views are stunning and the cottage is very well equipped. The decking is a lovely sun trap and the garden is private. We had a small dog and , whilst the garden is mostly fenced, we kept her on a really long lead as there were some gaps she could have slipped through. The cottage was very clean and Simon, our host, was super helpful and responsive with any queries. Mousehole has some fantastic restaurants, 2 Fore Street being our favourite. Well worth a visit if...

"Such a peaceful spot. We had breakfast outside each morning while listening to the birds and then spotted constellations in the properly dark night sky. The cottage was well equipped with lots of quirky details, just as the name suggests and the location was perfect for us - handy for visiting family. The welcome was really warm, too. It would be lovely to return one day. "

"The cottage absolutely delivered! The cottage and the grounds are immaculately kept. If you're looking for an inviting base of operations for your time in west Cornwall, you'll be hard-pressed to find better. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, and some of our best evenings were spent just enjoying the silence after a long day of adventures."

"We 4 adults spent 6 nights and found the apartment delightful for our needs. The third floor bedrooms with many steps could be daunting. The ground floor has a cozy sitting room and kitchen area, however the closest loo is on the first floor. The showers were particularly nice with plenty of warm water. The area is quiet and proximity of restaurants is close. There are many walking trails with spectacular vistas."

"Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car. Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat. Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door. Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold. Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention. Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. "

"The property is spacious and well positioned for the beach. Difficult to park a car on their driveway so had to park elsewhere. The BBQ and oven were not clean. Leak in shower room and one shower not working but fixed whilst we were there. The property is lovely and the host personable. With the charges for cleaning i would expect it to be spotless. Check in time too late at 5pm and check out 9.30am too early should be at the very least 10am and 4pm. Especially with all the steps to get...
