"The property is spacious and well positioned for the beach. Difficult to park a car on their driveway so had to park elsewhere. The BBQ and oven were not clean. Leak in shower room and one shower not working but fixed whilst we were there. The property is lovely and the host personable. With the charges for cleaning i would expect it to be spotless. Check in time too late at 5pm and check out 9.30am too early should be at the very least 10am and 4pm. Especially with all the steps to get...

"We loved our stay here. The house was wonderful and had everything you could possibly need. Very spacious and super comfortable with a stunning view of the bay from the rear. About 10 minutes walk to the beach and about the same to the local supermarket the location is ideal. Would definitely revisit if it was available."

"Just above Mousehole, a recently refurbished place that fitted the 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids) with plenty of room spare. A highly recommended base for a holiday John and Karen are the owners who live next door, and they're wonderful and helpful. They really make the place even more special. There was even cake, butter, milk, and bread waiting for us on arrival! Try out the steam shower!"

"Everything about this cottage was good. Comfortable bed, bright living room with sea views, well fitted-out kitchen with washing machine - and all detached with garden, parking & good communication. The Sat-Nav took us right there, but had to park and locate on foot as the property is tucked away up a drive way - no big deal though! Beautiful coastal walks nearby."

"Newhaven is a spacious house with a lovely garden in a brilliant location in Porthleven. There is lots of room downstairs with a kitchen, separate dining room and living room. Upstairs two good sized bedrooms, plus a bunk room which is suitable for young children. The house could do with a bit of TLC but that is reflected in the price. "A perfect base for us to explore the local area. Beautifully clean and well maintained throughout. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely relaxing outdoor space (complete with sneaky views of the sea). We made the most of the body boards in the shed - very useful! Perfectly located for 5ish minute walk to Carbis Bay beach and a walk or train to St Ives. Steep hills but the pain is over very quickly! I would highly recommend Little Coombe."
