We enjoyed our four day stay at the Tierra Viva Cusco Centro hotel. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was great. We enjoyed the ambulance of the historic hotel and it's Spanish colonial architecture!

Near the central market (a must-visit in Cusco). Comfy bed. Lovely courtyards. Bathroom was spacious and nice. Nice welcome treats. The less good: Our heater was out. A larger hotel meant less personal service than in smaller places.

The location was ideal for exploring Cusco city centre on foot, just 5 minutes from the main plaza and cathedral. We had a room towards the back of the property (222) which was very quiet. There is a handy heater in the room, great to dry your clothes near if you get caught out by unexpected rain! The bed was large and comfortable although the sheets were quite thin so some thicker PJs would’ve made it more comfortable without the need for the heater. The breakfast was included, and had a limited spread but people can order eggs or pancakes from the kitchen. For vegan options we could have fruit, cereals with soya milk from the kitchen and fresh strawberry jam on toast. The staff were extremely helpful in booking all our various taxis and transfers as well as providing us great vegan food options in town, including Green Point which is a must. I would happily stay here again if visiting Cusco!
