Great new, a bit of a small place for the weekend. New amenities, new room, must be a newly constructed little hotel. Small walkable space in room but cozy. A bit hard to contact staff because frontdesk is outsourced, someone from afar handles your questions. We experienced latency issue. They also only accept check-ins around 3pm.

It may have been because of FIFAā€¦in the mornings trying to go down for breakfast was a struggleā€¦the elevators were packed and we had to let several (3-4) go by before finally pushing onto the elevator. The guests were just as polite as the staffā€¦everyone understood.

We had a beautiful view of the city and the iconic New Years Eve ball. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall no issues, however the bedding had hair on it and the shower was dirty and disgusting. I wish I brought shower shoes that's how grossed out I was. Seems to be the trend for most NYC hotels which I don't understand at all.
