"Best part is the location, a large deck overlooking Johnson Bay--seals, loons, scoters, and other birds. Close to downtown Lubec, Campobello Island, West Quoddy lighthouse and trails, and the amazing network of trails developed by Cobscook Shores and other land trusts. We had a few snafus checking in and getting the wi-fi set-up, but our host Angela was very responsive and prompt in getting things fixed up and provided us lots of information of things to do. "The property was very clean, as advertised and had everything we needed. Orange lake provided opportunity for the kids to fish swim and play and we were able to make a quick drive to lubec to the state park. Great mini (3 night) vacation. Patsy and Ken were great hosts."

"This well equipped, and very cute, cottage was perfect for my husband, me, and our up. It is an easy walk downtown to shop (Downeast Creations!) and have a bite to eat. We had a great lunch at the WaCo diner, and a couple of light dinners at Horn Run Brewing. Also checkout out Phoenix Fine Wines for a fabulous choice of great wines!"

"It was very peaceful there, the backyard has a little fire pit and some chairs which is perfect for star gazing. Sky is amazing. The beach is right down the street, fun for the kids. The place was clean and beds were comfortable. Any questions I had I got a quick reply. We were happy."

Warm, comfy setting to come home to after excellent though nippy hikes at nearby preserves. Comfortable bed and living room and a full kitchen we used well since it was off season. Loved it and would return!"

"This was such a great find for a last-minute getaway Down East. The house was just as pictured (better actually), very clean, very comfortable, and very well-appointed. It is super close to West Quoddy Light, “downtown” Lubec., and the sights of Campobello. We had a nice restful visit and the fire pit was a special treat,"

"The area is wonderful, with many trails and outdoor places to explore. The cottage was not very well cared for, with buckling paneling, curling floor rugs that can trip you, a can of paint left out on the peeling porch along with a brush with paint dried in it. And this is minor, but we expected a drip coffee maker, but there was just a Kuerig. Still, the area is so great that we enjoyed our stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. Don and Rebecca are wonderful hosts! We arrived to homemade blueberry muffins, which were delicious. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We brought our pup along and she had a blast swimming right off the dock in the crystal clear water. We took the boat out a few times and had fun fishing for smallmouth bass.
