There was an slight issue with the blinds and alberto found a solution immediately. Great location and base to explore the surrounding areas of the lake as you are very close to the ferry port. "Amazing place to stay for our first trip to Como! We got lucky and were able to park right in front of the property every day. Had a balcony right on top of the water. It was a bit rainy and cool when we went but I’m sure in the warmer months it’s amazing to lay out on the dock and hop in the water for a swim. FYI did have a bathroom across the shared hall but not big deal to us as it was our own private bathroom. The host was very professional and helpful and answered all of my questions...

"very nice property. villa favorita is the most economy option in the hotel. rooms are nicely appointed, but quite dated - Fotos look too nice, beautiful, very large property, very nice spa, pool and exercise facility, breakfast is nice - buffet and space - weird how there is no direct way to outside. free bikes, however, they are in desperate need of service or replacement. overall very nice stay in beatiful ascona/locarno area"
