Charming Fully Renovated One-Room Schoolhouse on 22+ acres

A quiet escape

"The house was cute and comfortable. I loved the old feel of it. The location was remote and serene, and we enjoyed the sound of the river across the street while chatting on the porch. We had no problem with making our meals, as the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. Our dog was very comfortable and surprised by a visit from some Guinea hens in the morning. She was less polite in greeting the friendly dog from next door. I was pleasantly surprised that the tap water tasted good, as I had forgotten to bring drinking water and didn't have to find a store. The trip was about visiting, and we got to do plenty of that!"

"This was a lovely inviting piece of history to stay in! The amenities were wonderful, the host very engaged with being sure we had what we needed. It is (for those who may not know Vermont) SUPER close to all sorts of hiking, tours, cute stores and great food! Our family will absolutely stay here again!"

Friends' Family ski trip!

"This house was so lovely for a ski weekend with friends and our families. The house is very well stocked with basic needs and coffee. I LOVED that everything was labeled to help us know what to do, what to not touch and how to work things! Such a unique historic house to stay in that we pass all the time when heading to ski! Great location for an easy 20 minute to Okemo and convenient store across the street! Our families really loved being able to spend time together in this house. "

"I picked this property mainly because of the town and cost. I traveled with family as my son in laws band played two shows in VT.The house went above expectations. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. It was fun to look at all the artwork and check out the many books.I highly recommend and would definitely book again.The "

Wonderful Family Weekend

"We had a fantastic stay. Sarah was a gracious host, who was easy to communicate with. The house was much larger than we expected. There was more than enough room for us (four adults and two kids). We spent hours running around the turf room, playing soccer and hanging in the living room off of it, to burn off the rest of our energy after skiing. We could not have asked for a better space and look forward to making more family memories here in the future!"
