"Excellent family house but the best thing is the view and the stillness that comes with it. It is well equipped, very comfortable and close to spa and swimming pool. Stairs not easy for those with mobility issues though."

"We had a lovely weekend staying in a comfortable, well appointed house. The surrounding lakes and walks were beautiful. The only negative we had was better signage was needed for the properties, ie HOWELLS MERE NOS 1-40 for example. It was a little difficult finding our rental even using the map provided. This DID NOT spoil our holiday though."

Both balcony bedrooms shared the same outlook, making the mornings especially memorable. The house is very comfortable for up to 7 guests, with a large open-plan living area featuring a balcony, log fire, TV, big kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen.
