"This is a good place to stay to visit the Daintree Forest and Cape Tribulation. This part of Australia is off the grid and lightly populated. Being in the tropics,, it has a rainy season so be aware it can rain a lot during the Australian summer with few people visiting during that time. We had 3 days of sun so we were able to take advantage of the rainforest discover center and board walks without rain as well as empty beaches.
