Cape Tribulation Beach House

3.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (328)
"I love how it's nestled amongst and has low impact on the surrounding rainforest. Our villa was located very close to the pool area, restaurant and
beach

Thornton Beach Bungalows

3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (83)
"Loved my stay at Thornton
Beach
. Appreciate the hosts getting in touch before my stay to let me know about the check-in process. There are only 2 bungalows so it's nice and peaceful, and so lovely to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the
beach
across the road. There's not much in the area and I drove to Cape Tribulation (roughly 30 minutes) to get dinner. The eco-friendly lodge runs on renewable solar power. There's a bbq outside, and a small lantern to use outside once it gets dark....

Safari Lodge

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (86)
"Our stay at Safari Lodge was amazing! Our cabin was very clean, & was big enough for 3 of us for 3 nights. The amenities were clean and close by. The camp kitchen also close by and a lovely spot to chat with other visitors. We loved the gardens and pool area, and just a short walk through the forest to the
beach
. Make sure to grab a bite at Turtle Rock cafe, and highly recommend booking a tour with Ocean Safari. Everything you need right at your doorstep. We’d love to return one day to this...

Heritage Lodge

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (188)
"The lodge was in the middle of Daintree National (rain)Forest and is absolutely beautiful. It was within a quick drive of two of the most amazing beaches we’ve seen (Thornton and Cow Bay- just be careful / don’t swim). The lodge provided pure isolation and the ability to remove from the hustle of life. The experience was great from the pool, to the fresh made bread at breakfast, to dinner, to the “swimming hole in the creek”. The cabin felt like a cabin in a good way (with ac, a fridge,...

Daintree Wilderness Lodge

3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (101)
"Hidden gem in the Daintree, individual cabins immersed in the rainforest. Onsite restaurant serving surprisingly good grub given the remote location! Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Fabulous base from which to explore the Daintree. Great Barrier Reef easily accessible from nearby Cape Tribulation. "

Cape Trib Farmstay

3.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (64)
"Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. The cabin had an air conditioned bedroom a funtional bathroom and the extended canopy provided cover for comfy seating and a kitchen with gas burners and fridge freezer in an open air environment. Our Host Sam provided us with a fresh picked fruit platter which was a delight and he was very helpful with local knowledge and his kindness...

The Epiphyte Bed & Breakfast

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (85)
"This is a good place to stay to visit the Daintree Forest and Cape Tribulation. This part of Australia is off the grid and lightly populated. Being in the tropics,, it has a rainy season so be aware it can rain a lot during the Australian summer with few people visiting during that time. We had 3 days of sun so we were able to take advantage of the rainforest discover center and board walks without rain as well as empty beaches. Also be aware that this is crocoodile country so you can not go...

Ferntree Rainforest Lodge

3.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (217)
"Ferntree was basic accommodation. Towels were shabby, lighting around the place was not sufficient at night, restaurant food was below par, the beds were uncomfortable and the noise between rooms was far too evident"

PKs Jungle Village - Hostel

1.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (57)
"We have been coming to PKs for a few years now. It is safe to say that the area has become a lot busier in these COVID times. Unfortunately - PKs had been closed for a spell and had just re-opened. This meant the pool wasn't finished or usable. They had also got rid of all the plants in that area - which changed the space a lot. I think they were short staffed and needed a new cook when we were there. The new cook didn't seem to be handling things very well. I am sure with time the place will...
