"Hotel location itself is fine. Staff was friendly and accommodating to questions despite languange differences. Only suggestion is to look carefully at map for location relative to JR station. Was only able to see hotel sign after I crossed the street. On a warm and humid day, having to wait to return to the side of the street I was just on was annoying."

"The hotel is well located right by the beach, you can see both the sunset and sunrise. Breakfast is excellent with king crabs legs. Wifi is fast and room is clean and roomy and very comfortable. Reception speaks English well. The onsen has beach view. We highly recommend this hotel with great restaurant for dinner as well nearby Hokaido rolling sushi restaurant."

"The Matsue Urban Hotel is a great place to stay while in Matsue. The breakfast is outstanding with a lot of variety including Japanese and American type of selections. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The location is very close to the train station which includes taxi and bus services. When I return to Matuse, I will stay here again."

"This was our second stay at a Toyoko property in Japan. Rooms were super clean, great amenities from laundry machines to baggage storage and just a short walk to the train station. The best part was the wonderful Japanese breakfast! Lots of variety and very yummy food to fuel up for a day of sightseeing in Matsue. A very comfortable stay."

"This was my second stay at the Nono. It sits directly across from a train station for easy access. Taxis are readily available in the parking area between the hotel and station too. The hotel was a great Japanese experience. You remove and store your shoes when you enter. The breakfast was amazing! They serve a complimentary bowl (or more) of ramen noodles each night at 10pm. There are free ice cream treats on the top floor after 3pm. And the onsen (hot tubs, sauna) on the 12th floor is also included in the stay. The hotel is on the beginning of Mizuki Shigeru Road and is beautifully decorated with castings of Mizuki's characters (famous anime artist)."
