The room is small but we were so impressed with the overall cleanliness and comfort of the beds that we booked again for our return journey. "Overall, a very well managed hotel. The inn keeper was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Location is great along the main road. Parking behind the hotel was very convenient and there were plenty of spots when we traveled. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. In the bathroom, the sink was about the size as you would expect on a boat, very skinny and difficult to keep water from splashing everywhere. The shower was very nice, but similar to other places in Scotland there are no shelves to put toiletries on in the shower. The breakfast buffet was very tasty, ample, and fresh. We did not find a better place for breakfast in Oban. Note that if your room is on the street side, the street noise can be a bit much. "
