"Probably the best hotel we stayed during the whole trip. Location is great, easy to call taxi or walk around. Room is clean and cozy, pretty aesthetic. Love the services there. Came with breakfast, brunch and late night snack. Staff is super friendly."

"Although a bit rustic and somewhat hard to find, it is superbly situated inside the South Gate of Ancient Dali and a great value. It is very clean and comfortable, has what I would consider some Japanese touches, and where else can you sit in a modern bathtub gazing out the windows at the Himalayan foothills?"

"Such a lovely comfy hotel. Had the best stay here for a few days, the staff were so so lovely and helpful, writing things out in Chinese for us and being so helpful with any questions we had. The room is comfortable and clean and the courtyard is so beautiful. Just a 5 minute walk to the South Gate in the ancient city of Dali so the perfect location and all at such an amazing price! Highly recommend! "

"Overall pleasant experience, especially the tour driver Mr. Wang. However, we were not pleased that the electricity went out on the second night, leaving us in total dark and cold with no air conditioning, etc. The staff were not well trained to apologize in this situation but just remained silent. The room is also a bit small for a family room."

"The hotel itself is nice but it's located on the main street of Dali, which is extremely busy and noisy from 9am to 11:30 : thousands of chinese tourists, loud music from stores and bars and constant motorcycles horns. We had to cancel our third night and find another guest house to finish our stay in Dali in a more quiet area. And there is no breakfast in this guest house. And the host doesn't speak english."
