"This place is a hidden gem. It was a little hard to find, but once we were there we had zero complaints. It's close to the old town (10 min walk), the staff were very friendly and helpful despite language barrier, and the views (at least from my room) were beautuful."

"The hotel was very clean and the gentleman working behind the front desk was very friendly and tried his very best to help with questions we had about traveling around Dali. The hotel is right in the middle of Dali Ancient City, so if that's what you want the location is excellent. It's a bit of a ride to the train station, but Didi's are very affordable. The hotel is very hard to find and the translation for the name of the hotel from English to Mandarin doesn't give the right name of the hotel. It took us awhile to find the hotel and even our DiDi driver from the airport didn't know the name of the hotel, somehow we found it. It's a small boutique hotel with clean rooms, comfortable bed, and breakfast made to order. Overall it was a good stay for the price."

"The hotel is well located, right at the hart of historical Dali. The building has a nice design, with contemporary Chinese architecture. However, the rooms were not very functional. Overall, I had a positive experience although I'm not sure I'd recommend it."
