Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, this completely remodeled home is ideal for your family getaway to the Dallas area! This home has hardwood floors throughout, an open living area with two stand-up arcade games, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and a large dining table with seating for eight. Just outside, splash into the private pool whenever you need to take a refreshing break.

This home is located just 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, making big-city living a breeze! Closer to home, kids of all ages will have a blast at Hawaiian Falls Waterpark, just two miles away, while Topgolf offers a high-tech driving range and a lounge with drinks and games, only three miles southwest. For upscale shopping and dining options, don't miss the Shops at Legacy, just four miles away, while additional restaurants and shops can be found at the Stonebriar Centre, only five miles from your front door.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises
The pool is cleaned every Monday and Friday.
You may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

This property is not what you see in the pictures. It is overgrown with grass and weeds. You can’t even see outside the windows due to vines covering them. Then the inside had cobwebs, dips in the floor, peeling dirty tub, hair in the bed sheets, basic lounge chairs, and a deflated floater, broken up stones,and a busted fence, etc. They hadn’t cleaned in any way. There were no extra sheets or blankets and the towels were like sandpaper. If you walk on the floor barefoot, your feet will be black. Just almost unlivable. The property did come now and wanted to paint the tub, no cleaning at all, but that was it. The AC works somewhat in common area but the bedrooms are hot, and the BRs have no AC vents. Need a bigger unit or 2 units to keep cool. Nice size bar but only ONE barstool. Just not a pleasant experience.

There are a lot of hazards at the home including loose floorboards, no hand rails on the pool steps, electrical issues, peeling vaneer in the tub, and a cracked mirror. The house was not well stocked either for anything you would need. The pool, the beds, size, and location are the best part of this place however - very ideal for what we needed.

Nice house, could use a little upgrading. Microwave did not work, keypad for the door did not work, tub barely worked, not enough toilet paper. Mostly clean, nice pool, and good space. Pool cleaners came on a day not listed. Overall fine, but could use a little bit of fixing.

Wish it had more!

It was nice to be close to what we were looking for! Looooove Texas so hard to knock any of that kitchen dining living master bed room and laundry room are good! The rest needs some love! Bedding is not warm enuf to keep you warm there were some sort of bugs in the second bedroom and bathroom I vacuumed them out! 1 wash cloth enough towels and only 2 hand towels. We were there for 5 days….no wash cloths at all to wash dishes. It needs a fresh coat of paint that’s for sure! The alarm went off on the last night that we were there. No cops came or know how to turn it off. Called the Kasa line and gave me advice….

If you love garbage you’ll love this place.

The exterior and pool area are sadly dated. The living room is nice, high quality couches and chair. Floors, bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. The patio, grill and area around the pool needed to be cleaned, they came back and cleaned. The pool was dirty, never cleaned, sand rocks and bottle caps littering the bottom. The kitchen…no hot water to the sink, garbage disposal broken so when you run the dishwasher the sink backs up with everything the prior guests shoved down it. The oven had the previous guests rotting food left in it for me to dispose of and clean. The host communicated with me unfortunately there was too much wrong to make it right. The most disappointing VRBO stay in the many that I’ve had.

Ok house - great location

The property has not been maintained/managed very well. For example, the floor panels were coming off the floor, and the rooms all had scratches on them. It looked as if the property had not been maintained/managed recently. Additionally, there was a minimal amount of glasses and things for staying at the house. This is a great house for a short-term stay. If you are looking to stay more than 2 nights it is not the greatest. Over our stay at first, we were able to get ahold of the property owners. That said, towards the end of the trip we could not get ahold of anyone. The power on the street went out and we were not able to get in contact with anyone, the alarm in the house went off and we were unable to get ahold of anyone. The property managers went completely silent on us. The house has the bare minimum. The couches in the living room are comfy, the beds are not comfortable, and look like they have not been cleaned there were stains on them.

Not clean

First impression, the "2 car parking"in the back was covered with trash bags, so you could only fit one car and smelled terribly. We contacted property manager and they came the next evening, but by then we were having my daughter birthday party and there was limited parking in front. The house was dirty too. Floor left our feet black and bedding was not washed. Bathrooms seemed cleaned, but everything vents were dusty. You can tell this home has not been deep cleaned in a while.

Zero communication

Upon arrival, the house was set at 80 degrees and it was very difficult to get it cooled off. The refrigerator was also very warm. There were also ants in the beds and the trashes were overflowing. I attempted to contact someone through the VRBO app as well as the property manager via a phone number posted in the house. I got no response from anyone. Very frustrating!

Pros: Spacious, pool was a great addition for the kids, comfortable beds, clean linen, received text for early check in option, arcade games were a source of fun for everyone, pretty decent location in that it was about 30 mins from downtown Dallas, good internet service, smart TVs, all appliances worked well, detergent for dishwasher and washing machine. Cons: Master bedroom has a bit of trouble cooling, ant problem (if any crumbs were left out there would be a ton of ants there the next morning), no pool towels and provided with 1 less bath towel than needed for the amount of people we had, ran out of TP and paper towels, towel rack broken and shower leaks water onto floor in shared bathroom, no cleaning towels/rags available for kitchen counter cleanup, and communication with the house manager was just okay (she let us know we could check in a couple hours early if we were ready which was nice but then we reached out to her the first morning we were there about needing a broom, an extra towel, and TP; she was very polite in her return text and said she’d drop these things off that evening. 2 days later we received the items on the front porch but it was our checkout morning so not helpful).

Family time

The home is beautiful and very spacious. Our first walk through we found that the ceiling fan was hanging by its wires. This was disturbing due to it was children's room. We took pictures and owner came out, till the next day. I wasn't pleased about that, but it got fixed. I wasn't happy that I found old rotten pizza in the oven. The washer locked in our clothes. There was no workers available due to being the weekend. The owner also locked up the linen closet, so no access for towels or toiletries not good at all. My wife and I made it comfortable for our family. Communication with the management crew was smooth. They did advise they will ship out our clothes.

The Colony - Tucker Street

The property was not clean when we arrived. The two trash receptacles were overflowing with bags of trash. The floors had not been cleaned. The lights over the island were not clean. When we went to use the dishwasher, it would not work. The handyman came and had to return to soak up the water in the bottom of the dishwasher, but still could not fix it. We were told someone else would come, no one ever arrived, nor did we hear from anyone. I had to call the agent on Tuesday and tell her the dishwasher had not been repaired. Some of the furniture in the kitchen was broken. We were lucky my husband did not fall on the floor and injure himself after sitting in not one, but two broken chairs. The hall bathroom was not clean, the bath rug and floor were filthy. We saw roaches in the house. The gate and back door stick badly, and are hard to open. There were only 4 forks in the kitchen. The coffee maker carafe was missing. We were told the agent would bring one - she never did. The house obviously has not had a good cleaning - walls and light switches had obvious dirt on them. They say the property had tenants for six weeks before we came - probably workers who could have cared less about the condition. The advertisement says queen beds - they are full size - not queen.. They did send someone out to clean the floors - she just used a wet rag on a swiffer - and did not clean the rag at all - just spread the dirt around. My family was not impressed, or pleased.

Work for what we needed

The house was the right size and had a good layout for our family. The house could have been cleaner and several of the wine glasses were broken and there was broken glass in the dishwasher with standing water when we arrived.

Poor Communication, Didn't Stay, Will Avoid Vacasa Going Forward

We were in a bit of a bind, looking fairly last minute for a property that would accept 3 dogs. This property has a 2 dog limit, which I completely understand. However, I inquired about bringing a 3rd dog at the time of booking, which I did for multiple other properties before this one. Every other property responded within 24 hours to let me know that they could not accept a 3rd dog. Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but at least I could move on and make other arrangements. These guys confirmed my booking same day, sent me the usual "looking forward to your stay" email a few days later, and sent me another one of those emails another few days after that. Then, 10 days after my booking and inquiry (less than 48 hours until check-in) they tell me that they can't accept my 3rd dog. My conversation with the host/property manager was not very professional. I'm not going to detail the conversation, but not once did they acknowledge or take any responsibility for taking so long to respond to my inquiry. While I could have done some things differently or better on my end, they definitely could/should have done some things differently to avoid this situation.

Very disappointed with stay

The only reason for the 2 stars is the pool and and it wasn't evening that great. The pool itself had broken tiles. The fence was shabby and places were broken. The house was okay but for the price it was not worth the rental. One room had ants and they came out to spray. Not a matching washer and dryer set and dryer took 3-4 times to actually get dry. Overall just was just disappointing. Will not stay again and would not recommend to others.

Underwhelming stay in the Colony.

Arrived to the house to find garbage strewn all over the driveway, not a great first impression. Proceeded to see what the house had to offer, and the experience did not get any better. Broken freezer handle, holes in almost every wall behind every door, closets falling off track in almost every room, pool was filthy and never was cleaned properly, back gate was falling apart, improperly installed flooring throughout the house causing multiple trip hazards, missing bathroom fixtures in both bathrooms. On the plus side Jenn the property manager was very receptive and attempted to fix what she could. This residence (according to her) was on their list of known problem houses; seemed to be a shame that they placed $$$ over customer satisfaction. Would definitely not recommend this property without an extensive rehab.

Beautiful roomy home needs some work .

Broken handle on freezers texted the Property manager she said she had fixed it before so the screw must have fell out but never came to fix it so it hung down the whole time , pool dirty with broken and missing caps and tile ,rocks and a cup at the bottom of it We got them out .. The light in the pool was dirty and green .a couple of holes in walls, dryer kept malfunctioning Dryer doesn't dry clothes unless you run it for 2-3 cycles garbage full/overflowing outside before we got there it was full and when texting the property manager about it she never responded on where to put the remaining trash for the rest of the stay sleeps 10 but feeds 7. Needs more baking dishes we bought a big pan and left it at the property , cups , plates for 10 people . Property Manager wouldn’t text back a couple of times about some issues we were having . Alarm went off while everyone out in the pool and one in the shower called the property manager and she wouldn’t answer so called Vrbo and then the property manger called . Spacious. Updated kitchen. May want to pick up Paper towels ,toilet-paper and trash bags we had to go and buy more .The house is beautiful and is what the picture shows but needs some work ! It was roomy for 10 people Lots of linens and towels. Comfy beds. Big table. Enjoyed the arcade games. Never ran out of hot water.
