Lovely country location on a lake
We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm.

It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again

Beautiful accomodation
We stayed in the upper tower in 3 adults and one kid. It's very convenient if you travel in a group and would like to cook or heat your own food.
Fully accessories kitchen, two large bedrooms, with comfortable beds (a massive double bed in one bedroom, three large single beds in the other one), large wardrobes and drawers where you can easily fit all your clothes and belongings.
The cherry on top is the living room on the top floor and stunning views of the lake.
The only discomfort is that the first night when we arrived there was no water supply and we could not take a shower and had to flush the toilet with bottle water provided by the house

Beautiful property with great views. Large accommodations. Everything was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. Friendly reception from owner, who showed us everything upon arrival. Bar and restaurant on site, we tried an appetizer and it was very good.

Awesome Property
We absolutely loved this property. Beautiful views of Loch Awe right from our apartment, which was built in the 1630’s. Plenty of space in the apartment with two bedrooms, a lounge and a small kitchen.
The property hosts could not have been more gracious and welcoming. We ventured into the small bar both nights to find it crowded with many friendly locals. We had an absolute blast talking and having fun with these folks. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Scotland.
We ate both dinners and breakfasts at the restaurant just off the bar and the food was very good. We hope to come back to this property sometime again and highly recommend it.
