"The location is fabulous. Approx 30 mins from lots of different activities. (We hired a boat on Loch Goil, hill walking, gorge walk, castle, local towns.) The village is lovely with a well stocked post office, (who cooked us fish & chips) local pub and garage. The property is very clean, beautifully designed, immaculately maintained, extremely comfortable, beautiful views (over the loch with daily changing vistas, birds, boats, seals), has the little extra amenities that make it special: tea...

"The house was spacious with good facilities and very comfortable. Only 200m from the beach and a walk to the village with shops, cafe. Lovely walks from the house and lots to do. Terrace and garden great."

"An overdue autumn break for my scottish in-laws in the beautiful hills. The house has a magnificent view from the terrace and all bedrooms, and was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. My wife also managed to swim every day (yes I know) in Loch Fyne and Eck, whilst I could appreciate the autumn colours of the area. Oh and the seafood… yes!"

"It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again "

"The lodge was perfect for an outdoor family like us with dogs. Location is quite remote but that's what we like. We'd advise going stocked up with food and drink before going. there is a pub within walking distance with pub food and a great pool table. Meals were after 6pm. The lodge was very comfortable with everything you need. Having the sauna was fantastic especially after a long day out. There is a lot do do around the area but do expect to drive here and there. Check in and...
