"The property is located next to all of the downtown shops and the famous church, so it’s in a great location. We stayed in a two bedroom suite that was brand new and really nice with great kitchen set up and very comfortable beds and bedrooms. Like most hotels in Iceland, the rooms are not air conditioned so it was very hot in early September. The hotel promptly brought us fans to help cool us off. The hotel lobby and bar are really nice and a comfortable setting for an afternoon cocktail! Parking near the hotel can be tough if you arrive later/at night. The hotel is a very close drive to Forest Lagoon Geo Thermal Baths, which is a must if you are in this area of Iceland."

"This place has a wonderful Grand Old Hotel feel to it, The town is only a short walk away and the included hotel breakfast is quite good and bountiful with plenty of hot protein options. We found our room to be overly warm (common in Iceland) but they gave us a fan and it helped a lot. All of the staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly."

"right in middle of downtown convenient location, very clean washroom. we only needed to use kitchen for a quick breakfast, but there is no sink (for water) or garbage bin. The bar downstairs had music on until after midnight."

"An ideal spot. I always wanted a little window seat in my bedroom growing up, and having one right up next to the docks/coast was the best feeling! In such a cute town too, the whole stay felt very homey and cozy, and a great place to stop if you’re exploring this area of Iceland."
