"Great location right on the beach, but the condo was a little run down with mold. The biggest issue was checking in. Our room wasn’t ready at the check in time and we weren’t allowed to stay past our check out time (they gave us 30 mins even though our room was late over 1.5 hours) which was sad. "

"There was no water during the course of our stay. The water pump broke down. We had to literally use buckets of water to bathe, brush our teeth, flush the toilet and cook. The handyman Miguel is stand up guy. He was always available to help to . "

"The overall complex was very nice, but the apartment we stayed was terrible. I would come back to the complex, but not to that apartment."

"The location looks much bigger on pictures. Pedro was very accommodating to make sure Wifi codes and other nuances were in place. Each room had its very own a/c unit. I would recommend stopping at grocery store prior to staying and picking up supplies. The rooms had lights that with downloaded app it could be controlled. A car is a definite for location. Stores and restaurants are maybe 3-5 miles away. No a/c unit in living room/kitchen area got pretty hot last of May. Overall I would stay there...

"My recent visit to Viva Heavens by Wyndham in Puerto Plata was truly enjoyable, and I wanted to share some highlights. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and a lovely pool area perfect for relaxing. My room was comfortable and clean, offering a pleasant retreat after a day in the sun. One of the absolute standouts of my trip was the food, thanks in large part to Chef Amaurys. His culinary skills were evident in every dish I tried. The variety and quality of the meals were exceptional, and Chef Amaurys consistently delivered delicious and memorable dining experiences. It's clear he puts a lot of passion into his work, and it truly elevated the gastronomic aspect of my stay. Equally impressive were the entertainment staff. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious! They organized a fantastic range of activities throughout the day and evening, ensuring there was always something fun happening. Whether it was poolside games, dance lessons, or evening shows, the entertainment team created a lively and engaging atmosphere that added so much to the overall vacation experience. Their ability to connect with guests and make everyone feel included was remarkable. Overall, Viva Heavens by Wyndham provided a fantastic getaway.
