"What an amazing place tucked back in the hills. We were quite surprised upon our arrival. The room was excellent and the lodge is very comfortable. The lodge staff are wonderful. The challenge of luggage is significant. We're in good health, but I could see it very difficult for people with limited mobility. A porter would be a good addition. Sie haben uns ein Lagerfeuer vorbereitet und das Zimmer ist eben ohne Fenster und mit dunklen Zeltplanen gebaut, aber im sauberen Bad gibt es ein Fenster und heißes Wasser zum Duschen Am nächsten Morgen haben wir noch an einen Gamedrive für Elefanten teilgenommen mit Esme. Ein war alles in allem eine sehr schöne Übernachtungsmöglichkeit!"

"Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man etwa eine Stunde braucht, um die Unterkunft über eine etwas schwer zu befahrende Straße zu erreichen. Daher eher weniger geeignet, um Tagesausflüge von der Lodge zu unternehmen. Wir haben hier einen Zwischenstopp von zwei Nächten verbracht und uns vor allem entspannt. Dabei ging es uns wirklich gut - das Zimmer war traumhaft, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und das Essen perfekt! Abgerundet wurde unser Aufenthalt von Rhino Tracking, was wir nur empfehlen...

Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed one night here and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff are excellent and very attentive; they offer a refreshing welcome drink when you arrive. Breakfast and dinner were included in our package and both were of good quality. Specialty coffees and alcoholic beverages are not included and charged to the room, but the prices are reasonable. The location is convenient if you are on the road between Spitzkoppe and Etosha, and close to the points from which the desert elephant tours depart. The room has all the basic amenities and the beds are comfortable. There is also a parking space for each tent. The bathroom is also well stocked and the shower has excellent water temperature and pressure. We slept quite well during the night, although the howling of the local baboons do wake you up shortly after sunrise. Although the baboons roam near the tents, they do not seem to pose any threat to the guests, and the area otherwise feels quite safe. The pool was excellent and very appreciated after a long, hot day in the desert. They also have a dedicated viewing point from sunset on top of a rock formation which features a great view of the plains below. Overall, this was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip through Namibia."
