"I've stayed in dozens of hotels over the years and this was among my favourites. It's a great location close to the center of historic Brugges, beautifully decorated, and our room was quite lovely and a decent size. The breakfast buffet, in a renovated room with lots of seating, was included and had a variety of delicious, high quality options (salmon, cheeses, meats, as well as traditionalenglish and american style options). We also enjoyed tea one evening in their beautifully appointed lounge area and had great service. I found the decor in this hotel to be charming, a modern take on classic design. Every room, hallway, etc, was thoughtfully put together. Usually a hotel is a place to sleep but I enjoyed spending time in the hotel common areas. Most importantly, my husband became unexpectedly ill and staff quickly helped me find an online doctor for a same day appointment for him, and then showed me where to find the closest pharmacy. They helped make an overwhelming situation very easy to manage. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful from check in to check out. I 110% would recommend this hotel and stay here again."

"We overall had a good stay. The location was very central and walking distance to all the major sights to see. However the cooling unit in the room didn’t work properly and kept shutting itself off so we got quite warm. The espresso machine was out of order in the lobby. There were dead bugs squished on the ceiling over our bed."

"Great location and very clean. Good size bathroom. Beds and pillows are not comfortable. I did not liked the fact that they do not have double beds, only two twins put together. It would had been great to have a coffee machine in the bedroom."

"Parking in front of hotel using meter, we were surprised no fees from 8pm to 7AM, clerk recommended off site parking for 10 EU but attendance said 10 for today & 10 EU for tomorrow cash only!! So we left, seems dishonest since we parked from 6pm to 7AM & he charged 2 days, ripped off !! Beach was beautiful, soft sands & dinner at local eatery very cheap for France, some restaurants demanded cash only!! Must try to avoid taxes!!"
