"Very good value. The gym is a little primitive but functional. Breakfast is basic. The staff was very friendly. Free parking and everything was clean and neat"

"Upon arrival I asked for the pack and play I had called beforehand and requested and the manager to the staff helping me goes, “is there a note? Was it requested beforehand?” It was, but what if it wasn’t? Then I asked the front desk staff if I could have a room away from elevators and stairs and the manager, again from off to the side, goes, “we’re really booked right now with a wedding and a hockey team.” I go, “ok well I have a baby so just away from the hockey team would be great.” She goes on to say they can’t accommodate such things yadda yadda - then the front desk staff looks at me and goes, “I gave you a room in the middle of the floor away from stairs and elevators.” So not sure if the manager was just trying to find an issue or what. The elevator is inconveniently located on the complete opposite side of the hotel as the lobby and our room. The stairs were quick and easily accessible but because I had a stroller, I had to walk around 3 sides of the hotel. Get to our room - dirty stained carpet but otherwise clean. The tub and toilet were both clogged when we got there. I asked for them to be unclogged and left but the maintenance man only unclogged the toilet. When the pack and play arrived, I asked if I could have an extra towel and wash cloth for my baby and was told no by the housekeeper. In the middle of the night 4 ants were crawling on the toilet (I have pictures and video), the heat/ac unit front fell off everytime it kicked on. Hotel was nice, bad room."

"We had booked this room almost a year in advance, due to the nature of our visit in the Danbury area. I had read that the property was now charging $10.00 per night for parking. This parking fee was nonexistent when we booked the room. I did mention this to the clerk, and he informed me that nothing could be done to remedy this extra fee. However, they had set up a wheel that you could spin to see if you could avoid this fee. I figured it was worth a shot, and ended up with 300 extra Bonvoy Marriott points. Travelers should note that if booking through reservation sites, such as Expedia, you WILL NOT get any points from Marriott. Hotels sell rooms at discounted rates to booking sites, and your cheaper rate comes with a price. The price is the cost of reward points. If you travel quite a bit, you may want to avoid booking sites if you collect reward points. However, if you travel infrequently, you may do well to use a booking site. I’ve never had any trouble with Expedia. In addition, the hotel was fully booked, due to three weddings going on in the area. There wasn’t a room to be had. Parking was tight, but we did find a spot. The room was fine, and breakfast was fine too."

"The staff was excellent; friendly, helpful, pleasant. Dining was excellent as well. We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks and were so thankful we did as opposed to an Airbnb. We had a full kitchen and housekeeping provided us with all the things we needed to cook and clean. Fresh towels every other day. So grateful for the staff who provided us with all the comforts of home. Front desk staff always pleasant and helpful for our needs. Breakfast staff was excellent as they provide us with amazing hot breakfast food plus everything else you need to start your day. Absolutely not complaints with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We will stay here again in our next trip. We want to thank all of the members of the staff that provided us with an excellent stay!"
