We spent one night here before going to off the wall dive resort. Everyone at Pelican was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice hotel by the airport. We got a free continental breakfast and airport drop-off, which were very convenient! The staff was very proactive and booked a taxi for us to get to the hotel and patiently answered all our questions. Recommend staying here in Dangriga!

Pelican beach resort was really wonderful and peaceful. I have nothing negative to say. The room was cleaned on time and the customer service was excellent. I will refer all my friends to this resort if their ever in dangriga.

We stayed here overnight after arriving in Belize, as a jump off point for our snorkeling trip out at Glover’s Atoll. Staff lovely, property inside and out is very nice. Highly recommend to other travelers if they need a night to stay someplace en route on their journey.

What a wonderful place. If I were to return to Belize, I would only be staying here. The staff members are superb, particularly Jodie and Dareena, exceptional at what they do, super friendly, helpful and professional. They even had our names printed out on a chalkboard at the entrance welcoming us. The restaurant is wonderful, as is the dream-like scenery that faces you: palms and gently rolling waves. We were very happy here and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

I've stayed at Pelican twice. There's always an issue with the "free" continental breakfast. Last time, they charged separately for coffee, although it was brought to us by the server. This time, the breakfast was limited to three items (egg, toast, fruit...) but this wasn't explained up front and we unknowingly ordered several items. I love the property, but the confusion over "free" breakfast that is not free is annoying.

The property location is nice and the ambience at the outdoor dining and the beach is great. The service in the restaurant is good. The rooms need some updating. The new added rooms to the old building are marketed as deluxe but there is nothing deluxe about the. They are basic rooms. I had stayed in the same room 2 years ago and I can see the difference on how the bed has aged and needs to be changed. I paid for a double bed room but I was given a standard room for the same price. The property has a lot of potential for improvement but it seems that management chose to just provide the basic. The price does not commensurate with the quality.
