"DO NOT BOOK! Hotel is closed down. I’m writing this to ensure that no one else books this place, as Hotels.com has so far refused to pull this listing. The hotel does not exist. I spent nearly 3 hrs in the dark trying to find this place. Eventually, I did find the address, only to be yelled at in Serbian by a poor woman who now owns this as her home. If you book, you will be stranded. "

"The service team are amazing...they are not only helpful, but polite. I would certainly stay at this hotel again. The room is clean and it is loud if you leave your window open. After 10ish, the street noice dive down...but since the room is weel isolated, you cant hear the ouside noice once you close the window."

"I loved the convenience of staying at the Boutique Hotel Astoria. I had restaurants, souvenir shops and tours without even leaving the Old town. I actually had an historic tour the last day I was there. The accommodations were great as well. The staff greeted me with courtesy and was very informative with helping me locate things to do. Very nice hotel. "

"This is an excellent, modern hotel with comfortable beds, delicious food both for breakfast and in the restaurant, and a very helpful staff. I was especially grateful for the hotel's willingness to organize tours of Montenegro and even Albania for me. It's well located, within easy walking distance of what you want to see in Podgorica. I would return to this hotel and I recommend it to others. "

Great hotel in beautiful Kotor

"We loved our stay at the Hippocampus. All of the staff we met were really friendly and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was good (although a little more variety would have been welcome). The hotel is in the heart of the old town making it perfect for exploring beautiful Kotor - but it does mean it is noisy at night being next to a bar - the only downside in an otherwise amazing stay."
