"First impression was a very old space quickly stocked with thrift shop furniture and accessories. Our arrival was after 9pm and at that time, the internet was intermittently working. The main light and the outlet in the bath were not working. The next morning, the internet WAS NOT WORKING. The host responded quickly to my text and had that internet up and running within two hours so that was appreciated. Unfortunately, starting out the morning even for 2 hours without tv, internet and no coffee...

"It was older hotel but it is kept up very nice . Owner explained that updates and remodeling will be taken place soon . But if you need a place cheap while passing through. This place is quiet and staff is super polite"

She also communicated well.We appreciated several things about this property. It's conveniently located near Willmar, the check-in process was easy, & the price was reasonable. The kitchen was very well-stocked (including plenty of dishes), the appliances we used all worked well, the fridge was clean, & the furniture was comfortable. There's an extensive collection of DVDs to choose from, some board games, & the TV was hooked up to the internet. I also appreciated that the shower had shampoo, conditioner, & body wash for guests to use.The property itself isn't perfect - in addition to room for improvement re: cleanliness, the biggest concern affecting the quality of our stay was the odor (as mentioned by a previous guest). There was a strong humid, musty odor throughout the house - it also smelled as though a previous owner may have smoked indoors. The smell lingered on my clothes even after we left. Opening the windows & running the dehumidifier helped considerably, so perhaps an ozone treatment or similar odor-removal service would make a big difference.While we enjoyed the quiet location and could tell the home has a lot of character, we feel the odor issue should be addressed before future guests arrive. With some TLC, this could be a cozy, charming place to stay! We truly wish the owner the best as she continues working to improve her property."

"I enjoyed the stay because it was relaxing and it was clean I was disappointed that the hot tub was not in service I partly was looking forward to using that. We did use the pool which was refreshing we actually had it all to ourselves does not happen often. It's a little worn you could tell but still we had fun and was refreshed. Sai (Manager on duty) was amazing, very courteous and hospitable which was refreshing. The suite was just as described so was definitely happy about that, so all in all no complaints and I would return to stay there again just would hope to be able to use the hot tub."
