That was for the best, as she would have had a difficult time negotiating the stairs that were no problem for us at this unique property."

"Great place to stay to see Salem. It was only a few minutes from downtown and had free on street parking. My only criticism would be that each room had a small A/C unit rather than central air, so during the hotter summer months it might be harder to keep cool. The owner was very nice and was on the property a few of the days we were there working outside and in the other units."

The king bed was good, the queen in the second bedroom was extra extra firm, but there’s also a comfy couch in the living room if that doesn’t suit you. This is a third floor property so you need to be able to climb stairs. The mattresses aren’t that comfortable as they have coils that can poke into you.
