"The beds were large and comfortable and both bathrooms were spacious. The location was great, very walkable community with shops and restaurants handy and a large Target within 200 yards for essentials. Very secure building with a gorgeous rooftop area including a large hot tub. We also loved the 3rd floor open air atrium. Would stay here again. Handy to the BART and freeway."

"This rental was a lovely place to stay. The size was perfect and it was clean and bright. And the outdoor garden was a fabulous place to relax. One small issue was that there is a vintage stove and oven. The pilot lights went out and we able to relight them, with help from the property owner, but there was still a residual gas smell throughout our stay that necessitated keeping the kitchen windows open. Apart from that, we'd highly recommend it. And the owner was very responsive to any...

"Very rundown neighborhood yet close to freeway and downtown. Backyard was not useable because of dirt, weeds, cobwebs. Comfortable bed and kitchenette well supplied. We bought our own white wash rags because what was there was not acceptable. Dirty bathroom curtain. I thought for the price we could have done better. We will look elsewhere next trip."

"On the downside: The apartment is a bit funky with rather uncomfortable furniture. And the laundry is a coin operated machine downstairs. Only one set for the six unit building. The place was lacking some essentials for the kitchen so we bought a few things to help out. On the upside: Great location, and communicative host."
