"Cottage was nice overall, but the bed was not a Kingsize as advertised and was super hard. We are not small people and I always avoid accommodation that doesn't have a KS bed. We struggled for the 6 days we were there with both the size and firmness. The surroundings in the grounds of the main house are lovely. Pool was large and a nice cool temperature, but really needed cleaning/filtering daily due to the amount of dead insects floating on the surface, and therefore not great for actual swimming. Shower was the best I've had in a long time. Toilet had a proper flush too! Unfortunately M20/M25 road noise is annoying and hard to block out. Overall a nice 6 days away, aside from the bed being a standard double and far too hard. ~X~"

"A nice cottage set in lovely well maintained grounds, with a swimming pool and a hot tub too. We used this cottage as a base to explore the local area and found some nice places to visit.Dartford Central park is nice with a lake, café, exercise equipment, play area for kids etc. We also went to checkers pub for Sunday lunch which nice but you need to book."
