"We have stayed at this resort several years ago and we enjoyed the experience. However, our experience when we stayed there in July, 2026 was much different, When we first booked the reservation through Expedia, we were led to believe that there were only a few rooms left as the room availability indicated that they were sold out many of the rooms. "No choice for breakfasts. Small servings, and we were encouraged to have 1/2 of a desert, and maybe one egg Benedict vs 2. Asked to turn thermostat of AC off while out of the room. Very dim lighting. 3 way lamps had single filament bulbs. Reading a book was done using the phone flashlight. The hostess couldn’t read the room when she orated for long periods of time when people lost interest and wanted to move on with their day. It’s a good place to stop for a night, have a light breakfast...
