I have been staying in Dartmouth working for the past 8 months and wish I found this place sooner. It is a lovely room with views and the couple are lovely and very welcoming. This place is better than all the hotels that I have stayed in. Would 100% recommend and happily stay in again.

We had a lovely stay and Linda and Derek were excellent hosts. The accommodation was lovely with views across fields and out to sea and the whole experience was very restful. We will be staying again.

One of the best places I've ever stayed

This is an absolutely charming, bright, comfortable and spotless studio apartment, in an idyllic spot, next to the very friendly owners' accommodation, with breathtaking field and sea views from its balcony - I cannot fault this place !

Self catering lovliness

This is a very high standard self catering studio and perfect for 2 people. Great small balcony for soaking up the sun. Kitchen area is great and all we needed for making an easy breakfast. Bathroom is small but great shower. Really good location for getting around. Perfect for walking the coastal path. Tranquil short break achieved!

Very good B&B

A very good B&B with charming owners who are anxious to serve every need, who come across as 'chilled''. Breakfast is fast and friendly service on one single and a shared table in the conservatory and one other on the sun deck. The room is a good size and well furnished and designed. The bathroom has a large roll topped bath. I did not like the bed's mattress, but it was Ok for my partner. I had misread the website and thought it had a sea view, it doesn't but one other at the same address does. However views of the sea are ample very close by as Strete is elevated above sea level. The road to the accommodation is , like so many in Devon, narrow and busy , it is a short walk to a footpath and the rest of the village with a pub, shop and restaurant. There is wifi and a TV and its own separate entrance.

Amazing views together with excellent accomodation

The place is 'a gem' ! Felt at home and relaxed from the start. Wonderfully situated for bus/walking and beach. Such a lovely place to stay!

The facility was very clean and well presented( though as so often these days almost needed an extension to cope with the enormous number of cushions and pillows. Why do hosts think it is obligatory to fill beds with so many???) The space available was minimalistic and just about manageable for a brief stay. Without breakfast it seemed rather expensive for what it was. Friendly welcome. Garden immaculate. Parking bit of a problem when all units taken.

Frogwell Accommodation

An excellent place to stay between Torcross and Dartmouth and very near to Blackpool Sands. Accommodation was modern and beautifully clean and with one of the best showers we've come across. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Frogwell - no place better!

Fantastic venue and very comfortable room just outside Dartmouth. Linda and Derek were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Room was lovely, bed comfortable and spotlessly clean. Location was convenient for both Dartmouth and the local beaches at Blackpool Sands and Start Bay.

Autumn weekend break

The room was very comfortable - we arrived late and were welcomed. There is another room with kitchenette we were shown and it has magnificent view. Frog well is on the coastal path. A great position.

Fabulous place to stay :-)

From the moment of arriving to the time of leaving Linda and Derek made us feel very welcome. The guest house is situated on a beautiful stretch of the Devon coast with plenty of walks and beaches nearby. Our room was just perfect for our needs, clean and tastefully decorated with its own entrance and looked out onto the well kept gardens. Definitely a place to visit again :-)

Frogwell is a beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. The mature gardens overlook the sea. Our room was spotless and stylish with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Frogwell is not a B&B, but well worth a visit if it's only a bed you need.

Airb&b close to Blackpool Sands near Dartmouth

Our short stay in the Dartmouth area was really enhanced by our experience staying at Frogwell. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house was set in beautiful gardens and we could't fault anything relating to our stay.
