We had no idea that October was the end of their season restaurants closed very early if you go on a tour plan to leave early so you will be able to have time to clean up and get to a restaurant before 7 as most of them close at 8.

Originally thought Dartmouth was too far from Halifax. But with the Ferry right there, Halifax was very close.
Close to downtown
Easy to get in and out of Halifax. Restaurants tend to close kitchens early.
