There aren't many things in darwen, Lancashire but the views on the way up to and from the tower are amazing. On a clear day you can see Blackpool tower.
So lucky to have this on my doorstep.

"Wow!! What an amazing and cosy cottage in a lovely and friendly little village.Before arrival, Neil contacted us and explained everything regarding the keys and how things work within the cottage. Upon arrival a welcome pack of food and gifts were left for us. The cottage has everything and I mean everything you need, including towels and hairdryers. "We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Laurel Glamping Pod, lovely accommodation that was spotless. To improve our stay I would ask that the hot tub be warmed up for our arrival, I did actually ask for this but unfortunately the hot tub was cold and took till the following day to get to a temperature that was comfy enough to sit in for any length of time (it was a chilly weekend) I would also ask that a can opener, a bottle opener and a cork screw be provided (no good when you have a wine bottle...
