"Such a pleasant surprise! Wanted to stay in a smaller town, and Gerswalde is pleasant walkable town, with a historic castle site a few blocks from the hotel. The restaurant was not open temporarliy, but the breakfast was wonderful; teated to home made jam, and fruit from the garden. Super friendly and helpful family run this quaint country hotel."

"Der Urlaub war beruhigend. Mitten im Wald und nur Vögel, Wildtiere und wir. Das war Ruhe pur. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan im Forsthaus. Diese sind freundlich, hilfsbereit und unaufdringlich. Die Wasserqualität des Trinkwassers hat sich seit unseren letzten Aufenthalt, vor 5 Jahren, verbessert, nach Einbau eines Filters. And for sure before going from berlin check route in DB app, cause sometimes trains could be canceled. Especially on evening and night time.
