"Sadly the pool was is need of substantial repair. The cracked slabs and crumbling cement around the pool was dangerous for bare feet and attracted wasps to nest. Not ideal for young children and babies. There was a constant bad smell in the kitchen due to drainage problems in the area of the sink. The setting is idyllic and very peaceful in amongst the forest but we got bitten alive with all the woodland mosquitoes."

Aan de foto’s op de site was te zien, dat het interieur gedateerd is, maar het huis is goed onderhouden en schoon. De woonruimtes en slaapkamers zijn heerlijk ruim. Fijn ook de luiken voor de ramen. Het zwembad en de tuin is fantastisch voor ons en de kinderen hebben er erg van genoten! "

"Si la maison se trouve dans un cadre idyllique avec un court de tennis, en revanche, un ensemble de manquements et de dysfonctionnements nous ont gâché le séjour... Outre le manque de propreté et des toiles d'araignée, il manquait des verres (Obligé d'en acheter), il y avait qu'un seul parasol (Autour de la table) et aucun autour de la piscine (Difficile d'en profiter..). "Montcuq is such a pretty place and this is a lovely house to stay in. The house is just a few minutes walk to a fantastic boulangerie and you can wander to restaurants and cafes and watch the world go by, all without having to drive. The house is spacious and nicely decorated, with everything you can think of for a great stay. It has a massive garden and outbuildings, so perfedt for a family. We will return, but with the whole family, as there's so many areas to relax in. A real find."

"The property is dated and in need of some TLC, there are things within the property that do not work such as the TV, the channel box was broken when we arrived, in spite of reporting the fault it was never fixed, there are multiple extension cords around the property, not sure if it meets basic health and safety standards. Most frustrating part is the situation with linen, although linen is provided, however, beds are not made on arrival and the condition of the linen can be best described as...
