This is a budget-friendly hotel, so I came in with realistic expectations. Overall, it’s not the worst place to stay, but a few things made the experience less comfortable than I hoped.
The key would sometimes get stuck in the door lock, and I had to figure out a certain way to tweak it to get it back out. It wasn’t a major issue once I got used to it, but it was a bit inconvenient.
There was also a one-time problem where the water shut off unexpectedly during the night. It was back on by morning, so it seems like a rare occurrence, but the timing wasn’t ideal.
The hotel itself is painted in darker tones, which gave it a slightly unwelcoming vibe, though I did feel safe during my stay. On the plus side, the A/C worked well, and there are cold drinks available for purchase in the lobby.
The location is convenient, with cafes, shops, and the city center nearby. I also liked being close to The Huckleberry, which was a nice spot to eat.
There’s no parking available, which is something to keep in mind if you’re driving.
All in all, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for something affordable, but I personally prefer a more comfortable stay, so I likely wouldn’t return.
