"Amazing period property maintained to the highest standard! If you love wonky doors, sloping floors, original oak beams and all things old and characterful this is the place for you! Not only was the property and gardens beautiful, the owner was friendly, fun and good company. She provided us with a superb breakfast which kept us going for the rest of the day! "I stayed at this hotel as a base of operations for my visits to all the other villages. There was amble parking and the room was clean. I did not experienced the spa or the restaurants of the hotel, as I chose the hotel mainly for its location and spent only the sleeping hours at the hotel, which is satisfactory for me. "
