Davis Inn

We had a great time visiting Davis and the motel we stayed out was great. The owners were super friendly and went above and beyond. Would definitely stay again!

The reviews said 8.8 There were a pile cigarette butts on the porch by entrance food bowls?and trash on the check in counter .the place was empty but when we booked it said one room left. The room smelled like smoke even though it said no smoking. It was not clean and towels were in ragged shape. It was very different than the reviews

Towels are completely unacceptable. Hard and rough, practically rips your skin off. Overall, the room seemed dirty and falling apart. A trim piece on the floor was sticking up and had to put a chair over it to keep from tripping, nails sticking out of wall at ankle height could catch on/scrape your foot.

The owners of the motel were very very nice and helpful with everything. At our stay they we're in the process of remodeling. The beds were extremely comfortable. One thing that we did not like was it had white curtains on the windows and during the night time it was still light in our room from all of the lights outside. You need to take your own hangers and make sure you take your own shampoo and things like that they don't Supply any of that. There's no ice machine nor vending machines that we seen. They are doing their best to try to fix and clean the place up I wish them the best of luck. If we ever go back to Davis I'd like to see how it turns out we would stay there again. It's also by a highway our room was in a corner and we had no problems at night with the noise.

Filthy and run down. Visible dirt on floor. Unswept. Bugs flying out of sink drain. Towels tired. Tub rusty. Door trim falling off wall from door being previously kicked in. Unsafe. Trash in bathroom garbage pail. Beer can in ash tray outside my unit. Ashtray with 25 butts at office door. Had prepaid, so did not seek refund through property. Immediately left to find other lodging. I can't believe this property is in the Orbitz portfolio. I wasn't expecting the Hilton, but I was expecting clean.
