"When on arrival we felt that we weren't very welcome, the landlady was rather offish because we had arrived a little bit earlier than we should. But we had just driven over 200 miles and 4 hours driving (without a stop) to get there and all we wanted to do, was just to drop off our suitcases and park the car up for our stay there and just sit down for 10 minutes, there wasn't even a welcome, cup tea or cold drink. "I stay away 3/4 times a month with work and had I not been dining with suppliers locally would probably have missed this gem. They moved breakfast forward 20 minutes to allow for an early departure for me and what a breakfast! The fresh fruit, eggs benedict and the banana/strawberry smoothie were all 10/10 whilst I had a superb view over the harbour. The fresh milk and drinks in the room was also great, along with the shortbread biscuits. But the highlight for me was the bed. I intended to watch...
