While you're here, you can also tour the Daytona International Speedway (10 miles northwest) or hop on the interstate to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, or SeaWorld (70 miles southwest).

Beautiful setting for extended family gathering

Bedrooms, bathrooms, towels and toiletries all excellent. Layout was conducive to a larger family gathering of adults. Kitchen was lovely although some of the cookware needs to be removed as not usable. Love the large laundry although we only needed to use the dryer. Pool and beach are just fabulous. Storage area for beach gear near the pool is a mess. We were able to use a few chairs but glad some of our party brought beach chairs. Much of the equipment/toys in the storage unit was in disrepair and rusty. We were disappointed that we could not use a grill; again, disrepair and rusty. It feels like the general upkeep of the place is a tad lacking….its beginning to look a bit worn.

Perfect location and house for vacation

The house was beautiful and right on the water. Very good location near all restaurants and activities. We loved our stay so much we wanted to extend it but could not get a hold of the property manager. Besides communication, everything was great! We definitely want to stay here again, but longer next time!

Disappointed

We were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness and appearance of the house. We enjoyed our stay, but for the cost of the house I would not have expected how unkept the house was. There was built up dust on all ceiling fans, cobwebs on the sky light. All walls were beat up and scratched. Handles on cupboards and such were rusted out. The back sliding glass door did not lock. They had an umbrella stick propped up to it so no one could attempt to break in. The 2nd day we were there we got a bad storm and in the 'sunken room' all of the windows leaked. You could tell that it had been doing this as the blinds and wall were stained. Rugs throughout the house were stained and worn out. Nice house, just not taken care of. Very disappointed in overall appearance for the price we paid to rent it. Would not rent again.

Best vacation home ever!

Everything was amazing there was plenty of space for a large family vacation with grandparents and children. We had a group of 6 adults and 6 kids and there was more than enough room for everyone! Walking right out to the beach was awesome! And the pool is huge! We would totally stay there again! We really enjoyed it! The balcony gave us a beautiful view from our rooms as well!

Perfect location and amazing view

Plenty of room and the location is perfect!!! The view is amazing and high tide brings the ocean to within steps of the stairs. Perfect house for relaxing. Loved the fireplace and the openess of the 1st level. Manual blinds were super easy.

Relaxing vacation in a beautiful spot

Very nice place recently updated. Very easy access. Stunning ocean views. The blinds are fixed. Great for our family of 8 adults and one child. Pool is not heated so plan for an ice bath everyday in the winter.

GREAT STAY

We had a great time with our children & grandchildren @ this location. The house met our expectations with providing room for all 10 of us. We enjoyed the pool as well as the beach & the kids appreciated the beach & pool toys. The remote control window shades need to be replaced with manual ones as there were several that did not work especially in the master bedroom where they were down & covering the beautiful ocean view when we arrived. The location & privacy we had was GREAT!! Would definitely go again!!

Just like the title says! Big place, can fit plenty of guests, pool and view are amazing. Big kitchen, plenty of space to spread out and relax.

Family vacation

Overall this is a nice property. We were disappointed that we were not able to open the windows or the doors. Remote blinds do not work in the master bedroom. We were unable to get any views of the beach from there unless you went out on the deck which was very hard to do with the blinds in the way. There are no screens so that we could open windows or patio doors to hear the waves. Collapsible doors in dining room were nice but unable to leave open because we had iquanas that liked to come in. Cooktop in kitchen was difficult to use. 10 pages of instructions in a blue book still did not help. We went and bought a griddle and left it for the next visitors. There are beach chairs there but all but one are broke so we went and bought 4 camp chairs and left them as well. If we come to Daytona again we would probably not rent this house again.

My extended family of 8 enjoyed staying at the house. It’s exactly as described, very clean, and I’m a great location. Also, the master bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!

Wow!!

This home was unbelievable. So much space, comfortable beds, amazing pool & ocean. We will be back! The property manager did tell me there was no floaties, which was false, there was a handful. Additionally, I was alarmed by having to ration toilet paper and garbage bags... seems like something you would allow your guests plenty of. Overall, one of my best vacations due to the great property.

THIS IS THE PLACE!

Start with the summary...just AWESOME! The pictures don't capture the beauty of the house. The best is the view from the bottom of the steps every morning. The kitchen is fantastic. High end appliances and plenty of counter space and room to move around. This family loves to cook! And when it is time to eat the table comfortably seats ten. All of the beds and bedrooms are comfortable and three of the bedrooms share an ocean view from a shared balcony. Only negative is the electric blinds do not work as they should. Oh, and it is not clear in the description, the pool IS heated. We have stayed in a number of VRBO properties and this one is the best and the cleanest!

Really fantastic property

Overall a 4.9 star property with just a couple small items that need some attention to make it a 5. We had a party of 11 adults and children and were comfortable in every way. House interior - the interior of the house is a solid 5. Spacious, clean, comfortable and well stocked. It is really fantastic. House exterior - this is the only area where the house needs some work. The salty air has taken a toll on parts of the property that should be addressed. Location - right on the beach in a quiet part of Daytona Beach Shores. Great views, great beach. Wonderful! Amenities- the house is well stocked with kitchen items and beach supplies. The only items we noticed missing were paper products. Also, there were two gas grills available but both were in horrible shape and couldn’t really be used. Overall we loved our stay, and already booked a return trip for next year. Don’t hesitate to do you yourself, it is one of the best rental properties we’ve ever stayed at.

Outstanding beach house!

Incredible space in an excellent location. Our group was not large but the house can certainly accommodate big groups. The kitchen, dining and family rooms are very well done and quite functional. We had a few issues that were adequately addressed which solidified the fact that we would consider a return visit one day.

Perfect little getaway!

In a nutshell this property was absolutely amazing. This was our first time renting through Vrbo but it won’t be our last. I’ll start with a few items I wish we had known going into the stay: - The downstairs bedroom has an adjustable bed. - There are both foam and feather pillows on all beds. (We brought our own pillows because we’re allergic to feather.) - There is a regular coffee maker and a Keurig in the house. - Make sure you bring with you or buy when you get to the area extra laundry detergent, paper towels and dishwasher detergent. We had all of this and we were very thankful! - The house is fully stocked with anything and everything you would ever need for a fun day at the beach. - The house is nicely situated away from the public access points so it’s not busy at all but it’s a short walk to the pier and the public area. The house was incredibly clean but we had to rewash cookware as it looked like it wasn’t washed well by the last renter. Just a few things we noticed that could improve, we found a piece of gauze in the drain at the bottom of the pool and there is a sugar ant issue in the kitchen. We are so happy that we were able to find this house and it was available to rent!

Whoa- this place rocks

Seriously, why are you still reading reviews? BOOK THIS PLACE. Comfortable walk away from Crabby Joe’s. The beach is beautiful, but you won’t have to worry about lugging chairs (they have some there, by the way) to the beach because the view from the pool is just perfect, and there is no sand (or crowds!). Beds were comfy, amenities were perfect. Just can’t say enough good things about this place. Book it! You won’t regret it.

Nice beachouse

Beautiful house with outstanding views on the beach and ocean. The Pros: The property has everything you need to feel comfortable at home. Kitchen is fully furnished with high end appliances, lots of linen for everybody and a nice layout for family and friends to have a great time. The Cons: We had a few issues with cockroaches during our stay. When checking in we found 2 dead cockroaches as we walked in. Not a good impression. We advised the property management and they told us the house is regularly checked for these issues. A few days later, we were sitting on the couch in the living room and more live cockroaches started coming out. Property management were advised again and they were more proactive this time around. Pest control company was sent the next day. We saw some more cockroaches over the following days. When checking in, we were surprised to see the windows were dirty which kind of ruined the view for us. We ended up cleaning the windows ourselves to enjoy the view. Not exactly ideal when you are paying so much money to stay here and part of the reason you are paying that kind of money is for the view. We were told a few days before checking in that the pool is not heated. Kind of disappointing being told that a few days before checking in. However to our surprise, there was a pool heater installed but the power supply was disconnected. We understood that the owner clearly did not want someone using their pool heater and had purposely shut off the power supply. Again, not what I expected when spending that kind of money and a pool in February in Florida should be heated for guests to be able to use. Overall we had a great stay. The house is very nice, well furnished and stunning ocean views. A few annoying points as mentioned above but nothing that should stop you from renting this house. We were considering reserving for next winter but then we saw the price get multiplied by 3, we said no thanks. We have travelled to the best locations and properties this planet has to offer and I can tell you it’s not worth that kind of money. I would strongly recommend the owners/managers of this property to be more reasonable in what they are asking or else they will see a rapid decline in reservations.
