"We knew the property was old, but we didn’t expect it to be so dirty and not clean. We found mouse droppings on the kitchen counter, around the coffee machine, on the end table. The fridge and freezer were dirty. It was hard to sleep in the house 1 night. Se didn’t even have bath towels. We text the owner and she did respond right away and brought over towels. But once we found the mouse poop we decided we couldn’t stay there another night. We asked her to reimburse us for the 2nd night...

"The cottage was terrific, nicely stocked and appointed and perfect for an overnight or two for two! Great for after Hiawatha Bike ride! Wish the view (unkept neighboring properties) was better because we were in such a beautiful area… but host was most responsive and very kind and the cottage immaculate and cozy. "
