We enjoyed this cabin yet again. Great fishing. Great sunsets. A couple good restaurants in the area. Older cabin, but can't beat it for the price. 5 stars

Peaceful & Secluded

We had a lovely stay at this cabin! The lake views were absolutely beautiful! Kids had a great time fishing off the docks and roasting marshmallows by the fire. While the cabin is a little older, the peace, seclusion and gorgeous views are what makes it so great!. This place really is a hidden gem! We will definitely come back!

Great Lake vacation

For the excellent price, the cabin was a great! Very clean and the lake was excellent! The cabin and dock have a lot of potential. I might hesitate to bring small kiddos due to loose boards and nails on dock. But the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Towels, extra bedding if needed, full size fridge and stove, big living area and kitchen.

Just what we needed.

We needed a place close in relation to family staying at nearby campground. and this place was more than perfect for just that all the necessary amenities. It truly was just what we needed. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin by the lake. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. Close enough to town for convivence but far enough for relaxation. The cabin was spacious and the comfortable. The owner was quick to respond when messaged.

We wanted to celebrate New Years Eve away and found this listing, it was the Best! The sunsets on the dock were breath taking! It was my boyfriend and our 3 daughters on this trip! We made memories of our first vacation as a family. We will highly recommend this place to others!

End of Summer Retreat

Serenity Unleashed! This little gem is the perfect get away! Peaceful, comfortable lakefront cabin located a few minutes north of DeFuniak Springs, and a few minutes more to the beaches...has much to offer, and there's something for everyone! Host is friendly and helpful. I'm already looking forward to my next stay here!

Beautiful setting, so quiet

My son, who's in the service, met me there for a weekend of fishing! We brought our canoe and trolling motor and had a wonderful time!!! We enjoyed grilling and eating in.I gave 4 stars on location and neighborhood because you do drive by two deserted trailers while approaching the cabin. I felt very safe and the location is right on a huge beautiful lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Did not see anybody in the vicinity the whole weekend. So relaxing!

Wonderful and Peaceful

The cabin is great for a family or a couple weekend! Ms Chris was very helpful when needed and was quick to respond! Would totally refer and book again! The lake right there is very shallow and was great for paddle boarding! Took the paddle boat and around and ripped some lips!!! Great little spot! Also gave Ms Chris some tips to help! So book it and enjoy it!!!

Adorable lake life get-away

We loved the property - it's secluded, the pier has the best lake view, and the cabin had everything we needed. It was a wonderful getaway and next time we will bring kayaks as there is a boat ramp on the property! The owner was so helpful and accomodating and a pleasure to interact with! Bring your own outdoor chairs and dont expect to swim in the lake - it's for fishing and kayaking but definitely not swimming. We will absolutely be back again in the future! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Quiet area

Nice little place. One bathroom. Heat didn’t work and water pump breaker kept tripping. The host thought it had already been addressed and fixed. Just a bit frustrating. Place was a decent price regardless. Clean and near the lake.

Just what the doctor ordered

I was looking for something away from everything and everyone for a weekend and it was perfect. The lake is beautiful and the sunsets are incredible. The town has anything that you could need within 5-10 mins away. The home was comfy and was supplied with whatever you need for cooking. The bed was comfy, there are 3 twins and one queen. Two twins are in their own room, and the queen and one twin are in a room of their own. The living area has plenty of seating, along with a desk though I didnt use that room or watch tv while I was there. I spent the majority of my time outside near the firepit or on the dock fishing. Make sure you bring firewood, and chairs to sit at outside. There is also a washer and dryer available to use, along with a coffee maker if you bring your own coffee, not a keurig type.

Very Nice Stay

Two night getaway for us and grandson during his spring break. Very private cottage on the lake with great lakeside view, especially from the private dock. Cottage was clean and had all amenities we needed.
