"Lovely hotel, set in a charming town. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff and locals as well. Great transport, only 20 min bus ride to Amnsterdam Central Station. Hotel room was well maintained and ours had a balcony, nice to enjoy a morning coffee in the fresh air. Next time I stay there I will have to try their restaurant Joon which was certainly popular each night."

"Comfortable bed, in a spotless room with a beautiful view of the canal and garden. Thoughtful outdoor seating offering choice of sun or shade, and privacy. Delightful buffet breakfast of boiled eggs, cheeses, meats, cereals, fruits, breads, yoghurt and juices. A very relaxed two night stay."

The property was clean, the beds comfortable, but the bad part was the kitchen with non-working fridge, no soap and paper towels- those would be nice even at an economy class hostel. "The houseboat was comfortable and our host was so friendly and accommodating. While we loved our stay, it's worth noting that the location is further from the city centre than we had expected and amenities like the washroom are not what we expected (cannot flush toilet paper and very small shower). We did not mind this being avid campers, but figured its worth noting for other people who may want more comfortable features for their vacation. "
