"This was a last minute booking and they were great helping us get it arranged. We had another property with a pool booked but the pool was out of order. We were in town for our daughter’s college graduation. Nice to have the pool and living room area to relax in. Kitchen was lacking in a few items (colander, hot pads, baking dishes)."

"We now live out of state and traveled back to Chilton County to celebrate Mothers Day Weekend with family. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The house is wonderful and perfect for a weekend getaway or a week enjoying the water! We will definitely stay here again in the future!!"

The house sets on a peninsula surrounded by water with tall trees providing just the right amount of shade, breeze and beautiful view of the water. Having two boat slips and a covered dock was very nice and appreciated by all the bass fisherman in our family (electric also available at the dock was a bonus). "House was just what we needed attending a RC racing event for the week. We had 8 adults and plenty of hot water even with consecutive showers. Area was easy to access and nearby to many restaurants and shopping. Will look to stay over again in the future."

"We came up for a weekend to my son's lacrosse game as he is at school at Huntingdon. I found the house very well stocked and inviting. It was an easy walk to the campus and I loved the neighborhood. There was constant contact with the owner and we will be stating here again."

Such charm and simplicity of the little bungalow the neighborhood was off the main path with little noise from the road even though it is in the corner. Close enough to walk downtown for a meal and we felt safe doing so. I will be looking to stay here in the future if it is available. Appreciate the hospitality!"

"We were in town 3 nights for a graduation and had 4 adults and a large teenager in our party. The location was close to everything we needed. The property is better suited for parties of 4, but we weren’t on top of each other at all. It’s a little limited in bathroom and dining space, but those weren’t big priorities for us. The double living rooms with tvs are nice if you’re traveling with kids. Overall I would recommend this property. It is well kept and nicely furnished"

Our dogs and toddler loved walking the grounds and exploring, and a nice surprise was watching the automated fish feeders on the lakes and seeing the catfish have a feeding frenzy.
