Warm and large hotel in dire need of make over

Hotel has very grand entrance but inside is very tired, unclean in places and very tired. Breakfast was avoided as did not look appetising at all apart from the coffee. The juices were all watered down.

Das Hotel ist das alte Grand Hotel von Debrecen. Auch wenn das Hotel hervorragend im Zentrum der Stadt liegt, mit sehr guten Anschlussmöglichkeiten zu den beiden Straßenbahnlinien, ist nicht nur das Hotel, sondern das unprofessionelle Verhalten der Hotelrezeption wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Abgesehen von der alten Einrichtung, fiel auf das Taubenkadaver - wohl bereits seit Wochen - im Vogelnetz zu sehen waren und auch das es unter den alten Holzrahmen-Betten der Staub stand. Abgesehen dvon hat sich beim Einchecken die junge Dame an der Rezetion lieber mit Ihrem Freund / Bekannten unterhalten als mich zu begrüßen. Abgesehen hat die Dame keine Information zum Frühstück oder WLAN gegeben und auf meine Frage, ob alles bezahlt sei, meinte die Dame - Ja. Bei Auschecken am frühen Morgen, meinte dort der - schlafend angetroffene - junge Mann das die Rechnung nun doch nicht beglichen wäre. Dies auch erst nach meiner Nachfrage. Wir mussten darauf, da wir dringend zum Bahnhof bzw. zum Flughafen mussten, zügig und hastig noch die Unterkunft bezahlen. Schade eigentlich, weil man könnte bei einer Grundsanierung und Investition soviel aus diesem Hotel machen.

מלון במיקום מעולה, אבל רמת החדרים, התחזוקה והניקיון נוראית. הזמנו 2 חדרים, ובאף אחד מהם לא היה ניתן להשתמש במקלחת. באחד לא היו מים חמים, ובשני הצינור באמבטיה היה קרוע. בנוסף, המצעים היו מלוכלכים, שקעים רופפים ולא בטיחותיים, ולמרות שהיה קר צאוד באותו לילה (1-2 מעלות) לא היה חימום. ביקשנו חדר אחר, וקיבלנו חדר עם הצ0ה בחדר האמבטיה. לבסוך החלפנו את 2 החדרים בחדר אחד גדול יותר והיה סביר

Schlechter geht es nicht!

Der Schein von außen hat mich leider bei der Buchung getrübt. Hinter der schönen Fassade verbirgt sich ein aus den kommunistischen Zeit stammende Einrichtung. Das Hotel ist durchaus renovierungsbedürftig und Möbel sperrmüllreif. Die undichten Holzfenster haben den Aufenthalt unerträglich gemacht. Es wurden tellergröße Löcher in die Glasfenster eingeschnitten, damit über Abzugsrohre von mobilen Klimageräten die Luft abfließen kann. Jetzt im Herbst wurden diese Löcher nicht bzw. nur sporadisch abgedichtet. Mittlerweile fielen die Temperateren nachts bis auf Gefrierpunkt.Die Heizung war aber aus und nach mehrmaligen Hinweisen beim Personal wurde keine Abhilfe geschaffen. Somit war der Aufenthalt leider eine komplette Enttäuschung. Absolut unverständlich für den bezahlten (aus meiner Sicht überhöhten ) Preis in einem Osteuropaland in einer Stadt, die kein Touristenziel ist.

Schade, war mal ein schönes Hotel

Ich hatte ein Superior-Zimmer gebucht welches in einem ziemlich erbärmlichen Zustand war. Die Fensterahmen waren verwittert, im Badezimmer funktionierte die Deckenbeleuchtung nicht, lediglich über dem Waschbecken brannten 2 von 3 Halogenlämpchen, nach einem Tag nur noch eine! Als ich dieses an der Reception meldete zuckte man nur mit der Schulter und es wurde auch NICHT repariert. Bei meiner Ankunft waren keine Handtücher auf dem Zimmer, diese wurden mir dann an der Reception ausgehändigt. Einen Zimmerservice gab es auch nicht. Schön ist lediglich die Lage.

Отель в центре города. Но как можно было "убить" отель!? Сам город небольшой. 20-30 минут из конца в конец. Поэтому ищите другой отель. А посмотреть здание вы и так можете зайти.

A környêk kiváló,a szálloda aulája és az étterem szép egyébként az egész nagyon lepukkant! Ugyan május közepe van de 8 fok volt kint, a szobában kb 12, az ablakokat nem lehetett bezárni. A lift a 3 nap alatt kb 6-szor romlott el. Az egész szállodában az étterem és annak személyzete adott pozitív élményt, az ételek kitűnőek a személyzet kedves.

I stayed at this hotel even though i read alot of bad reviews as i am interested in old historical places and this is an.old communist hotel.... i knew what to expect so i was not disappointed. The hotel is the most central you can be in debrecen so its perfect for exploring. The staff try their best and its good for the price. But yes the facilities are not great and i dont think its been redurbished for 30 years or so.

The hotel was a very grand place in its day. Unfortunately depending on which room you are given is whether the place has been updated or not. On our recent stay one of the rooms was modernised, the other very basic, very clean but uncomfortable. The second room was also very noisy 350 as towards the far side of the hotel which we found on the second night was next to a raving disco which went on to around 4 -5 a.m. It is attached to the hotel so the vibrations can be felt. Breakfast very good, hotel very clean, very good position in the centre of town and staff helpful.

A szálláshely a város központi helyén van, mely erősen felújítandó. Jelenlegi állapotában is látszik, hogy élt már jobb világot is. A szoba tágas, kényelmes, de felújításra szorul. Tisztaság fokozható lenne. Csak ott van takarítva ami feltűnő helyen van. Reggeli: Bőséges, de az ételek frissessége nem megfelelő. 7-10-ig van reggeli, 9 óra után elkezdtek söprögetni és rendezgetni az alkalmazottak, mely kissé zavaró egy szállodában. A zöldségek nem voltak frissek, legalább egy napja voltak felszeletelve, stb....
