"The Pocket City Penthouse looked like a winner when we were hunting out a special place to stay for our anniversary -- and it turns out it was the jackpot! Truly, everything was perfect, from the beautifully appointed apartment and cook's kitchen, to the amazing views -- to the town of McGregor, itself. We loved the little stores and restaurants nearby (those that were open so early in the season), and the surroundings were perfect, the trains, the riverboats, and the green hills with Pikes...

The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas fireplace made for a cozy environment. Communication was excellent from start to finish and Eric made sure that everything was as it should be. "We stayed at this beautiful property for our annual Girls Weekend (8 HS friends) The property and views were gorgeous. The home was large enough for us to gather for meals and games, and yet have space to ourselves. We loved spending time on the deck watching the birds, eagles and turkeys. Tge hot tub was a perfect way to end the day after shopping at Cranfest and Lansing IA. Unfortunately due to lack of rain, there was a burning ban on so we couldn’t use the fire pit.
